Start>Motion Dashboard>Wireless Tab> Check mark Enable
Bluetooth Internal Wireless
For a Serial Port (SPP) Bluetooth Module
Bluetooth Icon By the Clock on
your ToolBar
New Connection>Express Mode>
Searching for device> Should Find XM Blue SPP*
Highlight and hit Next. (Link XM First this will put it on COM 40) Next
(again)> SPP Connection (then there is a
box to Creat shortcut on Desktop; Leave that Unchecked)>Next> Finish
Do the same Process with your GPS
now. Gamin10; Sentinel Blue GPS
will read HI-406BT. Qstar GPS will read as
iBT-GPS. (link this one Second and it will
be COM 41)
For Dial Up Networking (DUN) Bluetooth
Modules
If your XM receiver was previously
linked to a IPAQ and you haven’t changed Bluetooths with us this is probably
what you have. NOT a problem. Start out just the same as before
New Connection> Express Mode
>Searching for Device (If you aren’t sure which BT you have this will be
where you Find out; It will either say SPP,
or DUN) Will Come up XM BLUE>Next Might
ask for a Passkey just type a single Zero ( 0 )> Installing Modem on
com>Next> Then it will come up with a place to type in a telephone and
Username and password. Put a single Zero in the Telephone spot and leave the
rest Blank. UNCHECK the box that says Set as Default Dial-Up (if left checked
it will try to connect to that modem every time you try to launch internet)
>Finish!!
