Motion Tablet bluetooth Settings

XP Bluetooth Connection Setup

For Motion Tablets or Toshiba Bluetooth Stack

Start>Motion Dashboard>Wireless Tab> Check mark Enable Bluetooth Internal Wireless

For a Serial Port (SPP) Bluetooth Module

Bluetooth Icon By the Clock on your ToolBar

New Connection>Express Mode> Searching for device> Should Find XM Blue SPP* Highlight and hit Next. (Link XM First this will put it on COM 40) Next (again)> SPP Connection (then there is a box to Creat shortcut on Desktop; Leave that Unchecked)>Next> Finish

Do the same Process with your GPS now.  Gamin10; Sentinel Blue GPS will read HI-406BT. Qstar GPS will read as iBT-GPS. (link this one Second and it will be COM 41)

For Dial Up Networking (DUN) Bluetooth Modules

If your XM receiver was previously linked to a IPAQ and you haven’t changed Bluetooths with us this is probably what you have. NOT a problem. Start out just the same as before

New Connection> Express Mode >Searching for Device (If you aren’t sure which BT you have this will be where you Find out; It will either say SPP, or DUN) Will Come up XM BLUE>Next Might ask for a Passkey just type a single Zero ( 0 )> Installing Modem on com>Next> Then it will come up with a place to type in a telephone and Username and password. Put a single Zero in the Telephone spot and leave the rest Blank. UNCHECK the box that says Set as Default Dial-Up (if left checked it will try to connect to that modem every time you try to launch internet) >Finish!!
