No GPS or No Com on 59xx

Common Reasons: TomTom is running in the background, GPS Settings in Anywhere Map are incorrect or the GPS Settings in the PDA system menu are incorrect.

Fix: Close Anywhere Map and verify the GPS icon on the Today page is not blue (meaning in use), if it is blue press the soft reset button on the side of the unit, open Anywhere Map and check for GPS connection. If no connection, click File>Settings>GPS Settings, set Com port to Serial cable on Com 1, data rate to 9600 and all boxes unchecked except Lock hdg>Done. If still no GPS, close Anywhere Map go to Start>Settings>System Tab>GPS. Set Program port to None, set Hardware port to None and 9600, uncheck the Manage Automatically>OK.
